A peaceful 45 minute ride from Montego Bay Sangster Airport, you’ll find this intimate Superfun inclusive Resort. From the moment you arrive at the large open air lobby with a view to the ocean…you’ll find that this is the resort where ‘spring break’ lasts all year! The resort has an intimate feel, and even though it was at 98% occupancy when I was there, it never felt crowded or congested.

The rooms are bright and festive, even if a tad dated. The resort is clean and staff are friendly and greet you each time you pass. From the beaches being groomed daily at 5am (yes, I woke up that early, just to see the light of dawn) and the meticulous vacuuming of pools – you’ll find it’s a well maintained resort for those looking for a budget resort.

This resort features 3 a la carte restaurants – reservations are made on-site the day before. The a la carte restaurants are closed on Mondays and Wednesdays. But plentiful meal and snack options exist at Jimmy’s and the Reggae Cafe.
The Reggae Cafe is daily snack shack and another dinner buffet option for guests. The constant crashing of the waves on the rocks and incredible sunset views will have you drifting to this dinner buffet option. PS. Ask about getting a rooftop view for dinner – I promise it’s the best seat in the house!

Although not the most lively of the Munasan Breezes restaurants, you’ll still find the selection at this Japanese restaurant to be abundant and the meal tastefully prepared. You have many options to choose from through the four courses.
The main patio buffet is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner – and offers plenty of selections from the health conscious to calorie-infused yummy treats! Chef Joseph will gladly help work you in advance of your stay about any allergy or dietary requirements you have!
If you want a ‘happening’ party location, then you’ll want a room with pool view in the ‘quad’. Although you’re further from the beach, you are closer to the action at this resort. This pool and the main bar definitely become the center of action as the sun sets.
If you love a quiet spot to read or just soak up some sun, the Superfun Resort offers many off the path spots for you to enjoy the peace and quiet of the ocean (afterall, this used to be a Hedonism III property – so inconspicuous spots abound).

The Superfun Resort is closely located to many of Jamaica’s premier attractions, such as Dunns River Falls or a day of shopping in Ocho Rios. From pool tables in the pool, to tennis and basketball…there is never a reason to have nothing to do at this resort…unless you decide you have nothing to do but soak up the rays!
The beaches are man-made and have light brown sugar grain like sand. Beach chairs are plentiful around pools and on the beach. The glass bottom boat goes out 2x a day on 3 days of the week, and additional watersports such as hobie cats, kayaks, sailing and windsurfing are readily available and included in your stay.
A hot tub is elevated on the way to the disco, and there is a waterslide that goes right through the disco for a little added excitement!

There is a disco and nightly entertainment at this resort, but if you’ve been to other all inclusives, you’ll realize that this entertainment isn’t the focus of this particular resort…instead, it’s the guests that make the party and getting to meet your fellow resort guests will ensure you have an enjoyable stay! We had a great time meeting fellow Canadians, Americans and even a Jamaican who taught us how to ‘really’ dance to Reggae music (and not look so white doing it LOL!! Thanks Simone!)
